Barrett has always focused on making a positive impact in the lives of others, with a true interest in understanding monetary policy, the global markets and how they affect personal finance. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Evansville, majoring in Finance and Marketing. Fittingly, Barrett began building his financial services practice in 2011. He works diligently to identify the individual needs and desires of his clients using a conversational approach. Barrett focuses on a few specific areas of financial planning. His first area of focus is helping his clients optimize their retirement income by planning with the use of academic research and economics-based strategy, rather than hypothetical speculation. Another area Barrett is particularly helpful is helping to ensure his clients’ income is not jeopardized by an unforeseen disability, pre-mature death or an extended care situation. Barrett also brings value to his clients with a full array of wealth management products and services.
Barrett is honored and excited daily to be able to bring the mission and values of an Indiana-based mutual insurance organization to the local communities of Southwestern Indiana and the surrounding Tri-State area. Barrett also focuses on building a team of local professionals that he can continue to coach and mentor while aiding in the effort to help local people maximize their retirement income through strategy and identify potential pitfalls that can derail a plan from its intended course.
Barrett, originally from Orleans, Indiana, has lived in Evansville since 2002 when he came to attend college. He and his wife, Ashly, have three daughters: Fara, Falyn and Fiona. When not working, Barrett enjoys pursuing his faith, spending quality time with his family and friends, playing golf, and watching his favorite sports teams. Aces! Aces!
