Process for Obtaining Indiana Life and Health licensing:

2. EXAMINATION.
· How to schedule your life and health exam: Please schedule your test ASAP as testing spots fill up quickly. You do not have to wait until you have your certification of completion to schedule.
Candidates should go to www.pearsonvue.com/in/insurance to make an online reservation for an examination. First-time users are required to create an account. The candidate will need to fill in all required fields, which are preceded by an asterisk (*), on the online form in order to create an ID and be assigned a password. Step-by-step instructions will lead the candidate through the rest of the examination reservation process.
· Candidates must make an online reservation at least twenty-four (24) hours before the desired examination date. Candidates who wish to make a phone reservation at (866) 895-0496 must do so at least twenty-four (24) hours before the desired examination date.
· Should you need any assistance with scheduling an exam, please email Pearson VUE at pearsonvuecustomerservice@pearson.com, call (866) 895-0496, or chat with an online representative through https://home.pearsonvue.com/in/insurance/contact.
3. ONLINE APPLICATION. **AFTER YOU PASS YOUR TEST YOU MUST APPLY FOR YOUR LICENSE**
Submit a license application online through either www.sircon.com/Indiana or www.nipr.com. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $40 and an online processing fee. NOTE: Applicants may check the status of their applications online through www.sircon.com/indiana by selecting "Check license application status," or through www.nipr.com through the "Licensing Center" section.

Kentucky
Process for Kentucky Life and Health Licensing
1. Pre-licensing information TBD, contact Heather.
· Complete 20 hours of pre-licensing training for each major line of authority. Upon completion of the courses, the Provider should report the completion electronically to DOI. However, it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the Department has the Certificate of Completion on file. If required, the applicant may fax, email, or upload through eServices, their signed and dated, Certificate of Completion, Form CPL-01, to Licensing. Certificates are invalid without signature and date.
· Apply for Criminal Background Report online through the KY Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) at Kentucky Court of Justice - Kentucky Court of Justice (kycourts.gov). Fees are paid online, and are not refundable. All AOC requests are typically processed within 24 hours (except for weekends and state-approved holidays.) o Select “One-Time Request” - lets you place a single order and receive the report by U.S. mail. You may submit the report directly to DOI at DOI.LicensingMail@ky.gov; OR, o Select AOCFastCheck - lets you order criminal record reports and retrieve the results online when your request has been processed.
· If you are a first-time user, select Register to create account. You will receive an e-mail to verify your e-mail address. If you have an account, click Login to access your account.
· After logging into account, select AOCFastCheck from the Main Menu. This will take the user to the Request History page. Next, click on Create New Record Request.
· From there, you will be taken to the Record Request page. Under Category, select Licensing; under Group, select Dept of Insurance (DOI); under Reason, select Licensing. Follow the directions to complete your request to ensure the Department of Insurance receives a copy of your report. The non-refundable fee is payable by credit card or electronic check.
· Record results are not e-mailed to DOI or the user. All results for requests submitted online are housed on the Kentucky Court of Justice Website. Both DOI and the user will retrieve their results from this site. The user will receive an e-mail notification, upon completion of the record request transaction. The e-mail will contain a link to the KCOJ website to retrieve the report.
You may submit the report directly to DOI at DOI.LicensingMail@ky.gov, or through KY eServices secure account.
2. APPLICATION
• Submit electronic application through www.nipr.com. Fees are not refundable – know what you need before you pay.
• Submit electronic request for a criminal background report from https://kycourts.gov. Quicker option is to register as a “FastCheck” user.
• Wait one day after application is submitted electronically, then create a Kentucky eServices Individual License Account at this link: Department of Insurance (ky.gov)
• Log into eServices and “upload documents” of signed and dated prelicensing certificate(s), the AOC criminal background report, and any other supporting documents required for disclosure. (Please only submit documents in pdf format – no pictures are jpg files.)
• Monitor eServices “individual profile” to see changes in the application status and “schedule and reschedule exams”.
• Reminder - You must allow DOI up to 5 business days to review and process all your documents. Incomplete applications will take longer

3. EXAMINATION (after your application has been approved and your background check submitted): After your application has been approved, head to Department of Insurance (ky.gov) and create your account to schedule your exam.

Florida
Process for Florida Life and Health Licensing (2-15)
1. PRE-LICENSING EDUCATION—Contact Heather
· Please remember to take the certificate exam to generate a certificate of completion 48 hours prior to your exam. You will have to print out your certificate to take with you to be admitted to the testing center. If you have taken a prelicensing course, your prelicensing education provider will automatically send the Bureau proof within 21 days of your passing date but please print it out to take with you.

2. EXAMINATION Florida Insurance :: Pearson VUE.
You may schedule your examination at any point. Please do not wait until you are done studying to schedule your test as spots at testing locations do fill up quickly.
3. APPLICATION Once an application for 2-15 has been submitted, you may check your MyProfile account for the status of your application. You may then go to your MyProfile account and click the “Wallet” and/or “Letter” hyperlink(s), under the “Print Licenses” section, to generate a copy of your license for printing. This can take a day or two so don’t worry if you don’t have immediate access.

How to Complete Required Long Term Care Continuing Education
To place Long Term Care business with OneAmerica Financial, 2 separate continuing education modules need to be completed. Can do in any order but both need to be done prior to placing the LTC business. So if you are having conversations and LTC could be a part of the plan, immediately complete these if you have not already.
1. 8-hour Long Term Care continuing education (this will also count towards your overall continuing education towards your life and health renewal requirements)
- Sign up through WebCE (or other vendor of your choice) for your state specific charges.
- Subsequent renewals need 5 hour continuing Ed for LTC.
2. Complete the New AssetCare module on OneSource Online:
- Go to OneSource Online and log in.
- Scroll down the to “wheel” icon that represents the Center of Excellence. Click on it.
- Then find the NAIC Required Annuity and Product training and click that button
- Then on the left side of the screen, select My Product Training
- Then find the module for “New Asset Care” and click on “Click here to access training
- Complete the training. Once complete, it should say “Completed” on the list view

1) Pass your exam and email Hannah and Kim Woodall to let them know you passed. Send test results if available
2) Schedule meeting with Hannah and your mentors to get added to accounts
3) The GDC will start to be reflected in the next pay out
4) Get all of your receipts together for testing fee and for licensing materials and schedule meeting with Hannah to go through reimbursement. Email oasregistration@oneamerica.com with receipts. See attached document from OneAmerica Financial for reimbursement amounts.
5) You are responsible for tracking reimbursement received from OA and submitting any outstanding amounts to Hannah and Abi for reimbursement. Please submit copies of original receipts as well as screenshot of OA reimbursement amounts.
